Notes From Paris: Where Light Lives
To know Paris is to know its light. Golden against Haussmann façades, flickering in candlelit brasseries, shimmering on the Seine at twilight.
For us, the perfect week in Paris is a mix of sourcing, shopping, art, architecture, jazz and of course, food.
Mid-mornings at Angelina, where Belle Époque interiors frame the city’s most indulgent chocolat chaud. Lunch at La Tour d’Argent where breathtaking views of Notre-Dame are matched only by the history on the plate.

For something more casual, with American in Paris style flair, a meal at Ralph’s is a must. At dusk, we slip into Bar Hemingway at The Ritz for an aperitif before a lingering dinner with old school charm at Chez Georges.

And when the night finally draws us in, Saint James Paris, the capital’s only château-hotel, welcomes us home, a world away from the world outside.
Paris always calls us back.
