Taking the classic Mirror Ball from the Tom Dixon collection to new heights is the Mirror Ball Cone Fat Floor Lamp. Mirror Ball is a an ultra-visible, highly reflective object made of a lightweight transparent plastic sphere, coated with a thin layer of aluminium. Inspired by the pioneers of space travel, Mirror Ball is created through hi-tech processes - similar to those used in sunglasses manufacture - of blow moulding and vacuum metallisation to achieve perfect spheres with an unusual luminosity.
